Vishen Gopalla is the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of Kolos Cement Ltd since June 2024. He joined Kolos Cement Ltd in September 2023 as Deputy General Manager. Prior to joining Kolos Cement Ltd, he was the Chief Finance Officer at Forges Tardieu Ltd. He began his career in London at Ernst & Young LLP in 2004, before moving to Close Brothers Group PLC, a leading UK merchant banking group. Chaveesh Gunesie is the Head of Finance at Kolos Cement Ltd since January 2023. He joined Kolos Cement Ltd in July 2017 as Accountant and was promoted to Accounting Manager in June 2020. He began his career as an Analyst at BDO in 2006 and was engaged in various assignments in the audit and advisory team. Over the years, he has held several positions as Accountant in different companies.

This entity, now known as Alpha Ciment, marks the beginning of a new era in the cement industry in Madagascar.
Vincent Blanchet has been appointed General Manager of Alpha Ciment SA, Madagascar in May 2024. Prior to joining Alpha Ciment, he used to be part of Holcim Group where he held key positions where he spent 6 years at Holcim Madagascar (currently known as Alpha Ciment SA). He has also worked at Edena Boissons in Reunion Island. He has a rich career in the industrial sector in the Indian Ocean region, with over 25 years’ experience from financial management to operations.
He holds a “Diplôme d’Ecole de Commerce, option Contrôle de Gestions/Audit” and a “Diplôme d’Etudes Comptables et Financières – DECF”. He also attended l’Institut Universitaire de Technologie (IUT) of Cergy-Pontoise, Paris, where he studied “Technique de Commercialisation”.

Jean Paul Yan Man Shing is the Chief Finance Officer of Gamma Construction Ltd since September 2015. He started his career as external auditor at Kemp Chatteris Deloitte in 2000 and joined Holcim (Mauritius) Ltd in 2004 where he held various key positions across the Finance department and the position of Internal Control System Compliance Officer for the Holcim Indian Ocean cluster.
