Hilton Mauritius united over 600 participants for charity in the 8th edition of its flagship trail event.
Hilton Mauritius Hosts Impactful 8th Edition of the Hilton Charity Trail
On Saturday 21 September 2024, Hilton Mauritius Resort & Spa, a proud member of the Gamma Group, brought the community together for the 8th edition of the Hilton Charity Trail, a flagship event blending sport, nature, and solidarity.
More than 600 participants, ranging from beginners to seasoned athletes, took part in three scenic race categories: the Fun Race (5 km), Ti Wolmar (10 km), and Grand Wolmar (21 km), all set in the lush wilderness of the Wolmar Nature Reserve. The trail offered not only breathtaking views and immersion in Mauritian wildlife, but also an opportunity to support meaningful causes.
Proceeds from the event will directly benefit three local NGOs:
- École Familiale de l’Ouest (EFO) – promoting holistic youth education
- Mo Zar – advancing music education and empowerment
- Smile Train (Cleft Care Mauritius) – supporting medical care for children and adults with cleft conditions

Participants of all ages embraced the spirit of the event, enjoying a day of physical challenge and human connection. The trail concluded with recognition for winners across all race categories, including youth, seniors, veterans, and masters underscoring the inclusive and intergenerational spirit of the event.
