This recognition affirms the hotel’s strong culture of trust, inclusion, and employee engagement and highlights Gamma Group’s broader commitment to nurturing exceptional workplaces.
The award was announced on 3 October as part of the Best Workplaces Mauritius 2024 ranking, which celebrates organisations that place people at the heart of their strategy. Hilton Mauritius secured a spot among the top five employers in the large enterprise category (250+ employees), standing alongside other leading names in the hospitality sector.
This achievement reflects Hilton Mauritius’ ongoing efforts to create a work environment where team members feel empowered, supported, and motivated to deliver excellence both to guests and within their own professional development. It is a testament to the hotel’s leadership, inclusive practices, and dedication to the wellbeing of its people.
The ranking was announced in the presence of Patrick Dumoulin, President of Great Place to Work® France and Mauritius, and Jennifer Barbaray, Country Manager for Mauritius. Among key insights from this year’s data were the rising expectations of millennial employees, and a need to further engage Supervisors and Middle Managers, whose satisfaction levels showed a slight decline compared to senior management.
